Farm Stand Delivery is a fresh, new way to order your groceries on line and have them delivered to your door! We offer a flexible service that gives our members a connection to many local organic farmers and artisans. You decide what produce and groceries you want by customizing your order.
We provide Free Home Delivery!

Membership
Farm Stand Delivery is a membership based service. In order to receive deliveries you will need to create an account. There are no sign-up or membership fees for our service. The only requirements for membership are a valid credit or debit card and a Standing Order totaling $35 or more.. Your Standing Order consists of the Produce Bin you choose and the frequency of delivery, weekly or biweekly. You will have the opportunity to change and/or add to your order the weekend before you are scheduled for delivery.
Creating Your Account
In order to start receiving deliveries, you must first create your account. Your account must have a valid credit or debit card as well as a Standing Order totaling $35 or more. You can achieve this by signing and turning into us the Membership Sign-up Form. Your credit card information is never kept on file, it is entered into the Intuit Quickbooks secure sever and is then destroyed immediately. If you would prefer to give us your information in person or over the phone then just let us know. We will still need the sign up form with everything else filled out.
Your standing order includes the Produce Bin you choose and the frequency of delivery, weekly or biweekly. If you have any questions about creating your account, please contact The Downtown Farm Stand, Monday through Friday, 10 AM until 7 PM at 765-288-3775
When your account information is complete, your account will be activated within two business days. Our staff will determine your delivery day based upon your location and will contact you via email with your first delivery date.
Setting up your Standing Order
Your Standing Order is the produce bin you would like to receive and how often you want to receive delivery (every week or every other week). Standing Orders must total a minimum of $35. You may add groceries to your Standing Order, but it is not necessary. Some members choose to put items like milk, bread, eggs, or chicken on their Standing Orders because they know they will want to receive the item with every delivery. During the sign up process you will be asked to complete your standing order. You are not making your first order at that time. You will be able to customize your first order (adjust produce and add groceries) the weekend before your first delivery.
Customizing Your Order
Members can customize their Orders between Thursday at 3 PM and Monday at noon the weekend before their delivery.
When you receive the weekly e-mail, you can customize your order. Always write the delivery date for the order you are modifying at the top of the e-mail to verify that you are modifying the correct order. All changes to your order must be completed by Monday at noon. If you miss the deadline, please contact The Downtown Farm Stand at (765) 288-3775 as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes or additions to orders after the deadline. You will get an e-mail verifying the changes to your order.
Your order must meet the $35.00 minimum and contain at least one Produce Bin.
Canceling an Order
You can arrange to cancel a specific order up to 12 weeks in advance by e-mailing. You may also cancel an order by contacting Customer Service at farmstanddelivery@gmail.com You must cancel your order for the upcoming week by Monday at noon. A late cancellation fee of $5 will be charged to your account if you need to cancel an order after this deadline. Email Communication
Email is a fast, convenient, and eco-friendly way to communicate with our members. Please add farmstanddelivery@gmail.com to your Address Book or Safe Sender list to ensure that you receive our Reminder Emails.
The following emails will be sent to keep you informed:
· Reminder Email – sent on Thursday afternoon to tell you whether or not you are scheduled for delivery next week and to remind you that the produce bins are ready for customization.
· Invoice Email – sent the day before your delivery to remind you of your order.
· Confirmation of Order Changes – sent whenever you make any changes to your order
If you do not already receive it, you will be added to the Downtown Farm Stand e-mail newsletter list. The Farm Stand Newsletter is a popular way of learning about new products, what’s in season, educational information about organic food and farming, and events in the community. Should you decide to opt out it is quick and easy at the bottom of the newsletter page.
Home and Business Delivery
You can specify where to place your bin in the Delivery Instructions field in the Membership Form Agreement that you send to us. We recommend that you have your bin delivered to a spot that is under cover, out of sight and in the shade. All orders are delivered between 2 PM and 8 PM in a mid-sized plastic bin. Insulating liners are used in the bins to keep the temperature constant and ice packs are included to keep your perishable items cold. The bins, liners, bags, and ice packs are reusable so make sure you leave them out for your next delivery. We will pick up your bin and packaging when we bring your next order. This system is environmentally friendly and keeps your produce happy!
5% Business Discount – Farm Stand Delivery offers a convenient alternative to grocery shopping for the busy professional. Let us know if you would like your order delivered to your workplace. If there are five or more orders for a business delivery in one week, those orders will receive a 5% discount.
Delivery Schedule
You will be scheduled for delivery based upon your address. We deliver Thursday and Friday every week except for weeks affected by major holidays. Delivery times are from 2 PM until 8 PM.
Farm Stand Pickup
The Downtown Farm Stand is located in downtown Muncie on the corner of Main and Mulberry St. You can arrange to pick up your order if you live outside of our delivery area or it is more convenient for you. You can also choose to shop at our store or order something from the deli at this time! Pick-ups are scheduled Thursday and Friday from 10—6 pm.
Payment and Billing
Farm Stand Delivery accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit or
debit cards. Your payment will be processed on the day of your
delivery. If your invoice is not able to be processed, your account may
be temporarily inactivated until the credit card on file is updated.
Payment by personal or company check or cash is allowed and encouraged for pre-payment only.
Canceling Your Membership
In order to temporarily or permanently inactivate your account, you must contact the Farm Stand via phone or email. You can request reactivation by giving us a call or an email. You can contact Customer Service at farmstanddelivery@gmail.com or (765) 288-3775.
Customer Service
We want you to be completely satisfied with our service. If there is any product that is missing or poor in quality, we will replace it or place a credit on your account. Your suggestions and feedback are valuable to us. 35.00 Produce Bin
This is enough generally to feed two people, it will include root crop staples like potatoes, onions, garlic, and carrots, and fruit such as apples, pears, and bananas, some green vegetables like broccoli and zucchini, and some greens such as spinach and lettuce. Any time a local product is available we will put that on the list. There will be lot's of seasonal variables like, asparagus in the spring, winter squash in the fall, and any other seasonal variations.
42.00 Produce Bin
The medium Size bin is enough for 3 - 4 people and will include extra items like berries, extra greens, extra root vegetables, and extra hand fruits.
49.00 Produce Bin
This Large Bin is geared to families of 4 - 6 or vegetarian households. This will all of the special in season items as well as tropicals such as pineapples and mangoes when available, and plenty of the of the staples.
28.00 Produce Plus Groceries Bin
Our smallest produce bin is great for 1 -2 people and contains an assortment of 6-8 fruits and vegetables. *Members with this bin must add $7 worth of groceries to their order to avoid a delivery fee.
42.00 All Fruit Bin
This is for folks that just need a lot of fruit around. It's great for offices, as well as homes that want a fruit supplement. This bin contains 6-8 different types of organic fruits.
